1. No drama

Please respect each of your fellow players. We're all here to have a good time. If you think you're being unfairly treated, contact a Moderator and we'll intervene. If all else fails, just remember: treat others as you'd like to be treated.

Godmodding is absolutely not allowed. You have your own characters, and you can only play them. Do not place other people's characters or have them do things unless you have asked the character's player first. No character is perfect, so Mary-Sue and Gary-Stu won't even be let into this game. We assume you have read all seven Harry Potter books, so you should know how a character will act. Snape is not going to wear pink and be in a dance crew, and Lily is not a tremendous slut who secretly wants to be a Slytherin.

Your journal entries should be in first person and rp threads in third person. Punctuate properly, use your grammar checker, and d0n tipe lyk dis or we'll kill you dead, seriously. SERIOUSLY.

You can have up to five characters in this game, but each time you apply, you will be judged on your activity with your previous character. We would prefer that you have a well-rounded bunch of characters (i.e. all five characters cannot be Death Eaters/Slytherins etc.) and that you use each of them equally. If the mods think you aren't using your current characters, you could be denied your application based solely on that fact.

We aren't going to be ridiculously specific here - write a thread and a journal entry for each of your characters fairly often, and we won't have any problems. If a mod thinks you aren't being active with your characters, you will be contacted about this. If you need to be contacted about your activity more than once, you could lose your character.

Make sure that any play-by you use for your character is age appropriate. We do not allow models, musicians or scene queens here, because we like our characters to have a range of expression.
